At level 4, a Novice will automatically receive the quest L04. Day of Destiny to begin changing classes. After reporting to Sage Babama, you will be given the quest L05. Choose Your Path. You will need to reach level 5 to finish the new quest, then report to Guardian Team Leader Muha. He will give you the option of 5 different quests, a quest for each of the new job classes. Picking L05. Path of the Spellcaster quest allows you to become a Spellcaster. After picking the correct quest for the job class you want, speak to Muha again to complete the quest, change to your new class and level up to level 6.

This is a staff using class which has high magic attack. At level 15 there is another class change quest where the Spellcaster will be upgraded to Mage class.

Advantages

  • High magic defense - good at withstanding magic attacks.
  • High magic attack - causes high magic damage to enemies.

Disadvantages

  • Low defense - this class is vulnerable to physical attacks.
  • Low Physical Attack - this class is vunerable if it is made unable to cast to skills
  • High MP cost - attacks cost a lot of MP.
  • Cast Speed - skills take some time casting, which leaves this class vulnerable.
  • Cast Failure- Due to the amunt of time it takes to cast some skills, this class is more likely to have casting interupted by being attacked.
